Season with salt and pepper or Morton Nature’s Seasons blend
Dredge in 1/2 cup flour
Heat olive oil in a deep pan
Add the meat and brown on all sides.Remove meat with a slotted spoon.
Add: one chopped onion, one chopped carrot ,a handful of fresh mushrooms cut up,a tblesp.chopped garlic
Cook about 5-10 minutes and return the meat to the pot.
Add 12 ounce bottle of beer ( I used Leinenkugel’s) or dry red or white wine.
Add 2-3 carrots,cut in chunks
3-4 potatoes, peeled and cut in chunks
Bring to a boil, then reduce the flame, cover and simmer for 1and 1/2-2 hours.
Alternative for easy meal-Simmer in a crock pot overnight or all day instead of leaving on stove to simmer for 2 hours.
