Ingredients
Matzo 3-4 pieces
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
12 oz.chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts or other chopped nut
Preparation
Preheat oven to 450 degrees
Line cookie sheet with a generous sheet of aluminum foil, or parchment paper.
Place 3-4 matzos in cookie sheet in a single layer, breaking as needed.
Heat one cup salted butter or parve margarine and one cup dark brown sugar in small saucepan until well combined. Pour over matzo, spreading with a spatula. Bake 1-2 minutes, until bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle with 12 ounces chocolate chips. Return to oven for one minute . Remove from oven and spread chocolate with spatula. Sprinkle with the chopped walnuts. Wrap up in aluminum foil ( I put parchment paper under the aluminum foil to avoid sticking) and freeze for 40 minutes or throughout Passover. Store in the freezer.
